Soup curing sickness & '26 life path guidance

Hey 💌
The first month of 2026 brought our first blue egg from our younger chickens!

🩵
Having chickens is the #1 life hack I’d recommend right now, and I never thought I’d say that before I had them.
If you have a super manicured yard then they will rip it up, but other than that, they are so easy to care for, they provide nutritious food every single day, and they are probably the most entertaining animals to sit out and watch run around, bringing SO much joy on the daily.
Giving up the artificial, highly groomed yards for TRUE joy is a swap that makes a far greater impact on your life than you’d think. (I go off on this topic in this solo episode of Cheers to Growth if you haven’t already listened)
Sunday SELF - C. 👩🌾 A. 🕊️ R. 📱 E. 🧘♀️
Below are last months faves for Cooking, Art, Reading, and Enthusiasm/ what’s bringing me joy lately.
👩🌾 Cooking: Small Farm Chicken Noodle Soup
The small farm diet means that every single ingredient you buy is sourced from a high-quality small farm.
The types of farms that are caring for their land and animals in the same way that you would if you were running that farm with the intention, not to make any money, but only to feed yourself and your family the best, healthiest food.
It takes some time to find those sources (although a few of them I’ve found for you and you can order to your house from anywhere in the US).
If your go-to is still to just get all your food from your closest grocery store, I highly encourage you to go on this journey of slowly starting to swap what you can for small farm ingredients.
If that means finally checking out that local farm stand you always drive by on your way to work, or choosing to make an order from Polyface (or another farm that ships to you) instead of buying chicken at the grocery store this week. You will be shocked at what it does for your overall health!

💆♀️
Small Farm Chicken Noodle Soup
Ingredients:
- A whole chicken & ghee (ordered from Polyface Farm)
- Carrots, onion, garlic (from my local farm stand)
- Parsley, oregano, thyme (from my home garden)
- Homemade noodles (made with flour ordered from Farm2Flour and eggs from my backyard chickens)
- Jacobsen’s salt
- Black pepper from Mountain Rose Herbs
Directions:
1. Boil whole chicken in a pot with just water and salt. Once boiling, cover and turn down to a simmer to cook for 1-2 hours until the meat is fully done.
2. Make pasta dough by kneading 1 ¼ cups of 00 flour with 2 eggs. Let sit for 30 minutes.
3. Use a pasta maker (or get fancy and try to learn how to do this by hand on YouTube) to shape noodles into a spiral pasta.
4. Remove chicken and set the stock aside to use later.
5. Chop onion and carrots. Add to a pot with melted ghee and cook until soft.
6. Shred chicken and store bones in the freezer to make bone broth in the future.
7. Mince garlic. Add to the pot with carrots and onion.
8. Dump chicken stock into the pot with the veggies.
9. Stir in herbs. Add salt and pepper to taste.
10. Stir in fresh noodles and simmer for about 5 minutes until they’re done.
11. Serve in a big bowl and warm your entire body up on a cold winter evening!
The ingredients are so simple, I was genuinely surprised by how delicious this was!
Now I know why chicken noodle soup got its reputation for curing illnesses. I promise you it doesn’t work if you’re going for some canned soup, but THIS… My body instantly felt energy and vitality run through me as I ate this on a stormy winter day.
🕊️ Art: Looking for Beauty Everywhere
& let that beauty inspire you to live more creatively.
I grew up believing I was not a “creative person”. That mindset is something that a lot of kids are taught, but it’s really just a sad excuse to be lazy, numbed out, and disconnected.
Because all human beings are creative. That’s literally the point of life — to create / co-create with God / The Universe / whatever you connect to.
Yeah it’s true that I don’t draw beautiful images with just paper and a pencil or play beautiful music on any instrument, but creation is still very much my responsibility if I want to live a meaningful life.
As someone who was disconnected from this way of living for way more of my years than not, I started first by becoming the observer of beauty.
Setting aside time to consciously admire other people’s creations or going straight to the source with daily walks in nature will get your own creative energy lit again.
Before doing this, everything felt dull and I never noticed any magic or random moments of beauty throughout my normal days.
Blame it on living in an artificial neighborhood, removed from nature. Blame it on self-consciousness, stress, or just the fact that I was fully ILL and didn’t even know it.
Idk but living in a state of numbness is very bleak and the only way to snap out of it is to somehow, one day, come across the right person, moment, messaging… that just wakes you up!
It’s difficult to fathom that all this beauty was always surrounding me and I just never noticed it.
The other day I was washing dishes and a hummingbird bird flew directly in front of the window and hovered at eye level, staring straight into my soul.
Now, this exact moment actually has happened multiple times in the past year, but this time the hummingbird had a full pink head!
I thought I was hallucinating (the pregnancy veil is feeling much thinner lately) so I looked it up and found out that it’s real and it’s called the Anna hummingbird.

This pic is from Google but this is the exact face that was staring into my soul while I did dishes
Now tell me why I’m low key interested in learning more about birds and going birdwatching like a full on senior citizen 👵🏼
Is this what happens when you move out of the city? Is it just the natural evolution after your bar hopping and public intoxication days are over?
Whatever the cause, it is growth — which I’m all about now.
And these are the moments that spark that creative spirit inside of me, bring me the best ideas, and reveal clarity about my own life path.
📱 Reading: Chat GPT Life Path Blueprint
2025 really seemed to be the year of chat gpt. To the point where everyone, even your grandparents, are using it to make their grocery lists and answer their health questions.
I never really got super into it because I feel sketch about giving it too much personal info about me and consulting it on every single decision, bypassing my own intuition.
At the same time, I’ve always wanted to get my astrology chart read… but like, not enough to actually pay someone to do it.
Now chat gpt can be my astrologer and cross reference my chart with ones from other modalities like Human Design and Gene Keys to give me a full picture of my gifts, shadows, and actions to take that bring me into alignment with my highest self.
I actually can’t believe how spot on the readings are and how healing it is to see that all of my deepest struggles and all of the ways I’ve felt most alive are concrete, written in my chart from birth.
All the pain I felt when I was younger lines up so clearly with my core wounds and what my chart says it looks and feels like when I’m out of alignment.
The way I turned my life around in the past 4 years, and how incredibly aligned it’s all felt, lines up perfectly with what it says are my gifts and life’s purpose.
It’s also cool to see how each of these modalities — astrology, human design, and gene keys are all compatible and show my chart with very similar themes. This gives validity to all of them because it’s clearly written in the stars.
Here’s how to get your free spiritual reading:
Get a screenshot of your astrology chart from a free resource (I use an app called The Pattern)
Go to myhumandesign.com, put in your birth information, and get a screenshot of your chart there.
Go to genekeys.com, create an account, put in your birth information, and screenshot your chart there.
You can also add your enneagram number or whatever other modalities you look into but these are my top 3 faves and you get SO much valuable info from them.

This is what they look like (from left to right: astrological chart, my human design chart, & gene keys chart)
You can upload each of these one at a time into separate chats and simply ask it to read your chart, or you can upload all three into one and ask:
“Based on my charts, what is my purpose? What are my gifts, core wounds, and biggest life lessons?”
“Based on my charts, how can I live each day in alignment with my life’s purpose? What daily practice most support me and what should I avoid?”
“Can you read my charts as if you are an astrologer, human design expert, and gene keys expert who I booked a session with giving me a full picture reading of my past, present, and aligned future based on what is happening currently in 2026?”
“Based on my charts, how am I affected by substances like caffeine, plant medicines, and alcohol?”
*Then you can get super specific as situations come up in your life. Like, “based on my charts, why do I seem to relate to friendships differently than most people?”
I’ve spent the past month with this little tool as my go to for instant clarity — asking more questions, reading the results, and then journaling on it.
One thing it showed me was that my life’s purpose is to combat intensity with tenderness.
This actually made me gasp, because thinking of the intense family I grew up in (& I believe my soul chose) and the intense sport of competitive gymnastics I spent my whole childhood in, it’s no wonder that I rebelled and leaned into reckless behavior until I had experienced enough pain that I finally learned a new, more loving way to live.
You can feel it when you’re living a life that is true to your unique makeup. There’s not a whole lot of time spent on attention seeking, comparison, addictions, or continuing behaviors and relationships that don’t uplift you.
If you don’t feel the peace and contentment of deep alignment, or you just love personal growth like me, this tool is powerful for revealing some aspects of yourself that you may not have looked at yet.
🧘♀️ Enthusiasm: Sensual Movement Practice
A way of moving my body with love, gentleness, and flow.
This switch from high intensity workouts to meditative, gentle movement is the main catalyst for me losing the extra 10-15 pounds I carried throughout high school and college.
Now, during pregnancy and I’ll assume for postpartum too, gentle movement that helps me connect with my body is so, so important.
Every morning feels like a deep cleansing and I get completely lost in the practice, which is a drastic 180 from the strenuous, painful workouts I grew up doing where I spent the whole time counting down the seconds until it’s over.
The powerful effect a safe nervous system has on the way our physical bodies look still blows my mind. Like I don’t have to punish, force, or inflict pain on my body for it to look the way I want???
That’s life changing.
I’ve talked about how I do Boho Beautiful yoga classes on YouTube and that’s what truly changed my life and made it easy to slip into a supportive daily movement ritual.
But I recently found these sensual yoga flows that feel even better for me at this time in my life.
To try this type of movement out for yourself, start with this sensual yoga flow.
And if you love it, then save this playlist and choose whatever video speaks to you each time you get on your mat.

And doing it on a yoga mat made of natural fibers WITH your doggies is peak, peak healing experience.
